The Director and CEO of GCC Trading & Technology, Limited in Saudi Arabia is Mohammed H. Al-Saif.

GCC Trading & Technology, Limited is a new company formed in partnership with Mr. Al-Saif, owner of MHS General Construction Company which specializes in the design and construction of custom homes and offices. Under the same company registration and ownership, MHS-GCC has conducted a successful import service since 1989 which featured US automobiles, appliances, bathroom and kitchen fixtures, custom doors, cabinets and hardware. MHS-GCC also owns a travel agency and Internet Cafes. During his 25-year career with Saudi Aramco, Mr. Al-Saif held positions in the Exploration Organization with specialization in seismic acquisition, data processing and cartography. In 1997, his company was a critical sub-contractor to a $50 million, three-year seismic crew contract awarded by Saudi Aramco.


 Mr. Richard D. Chimblo

The Director and COO of GCC Trading & Technology, Limited in Houston is Richard “Rick” D. Chimblo, Ph.D.

Dr. Chimblo has over 36 years petroleum exploration and field development experience managing professional geoscientists at major oil and gas companies in the United States, England and Saudi Arabia. During his 16-year career at Saudi Aramco, he held the positions of Chief Explorationist, Chief Geophysicist and Manager of Geophysics. After returning to the United States in 1996, he was retained in various corporate advisory positions including General Manager, Exploration (Western Atlas E&P Services), Vice President, Exploration Solutions (Landmark Graphics), and Director, Geotechnology Research Institute (Houston Advanced Research Center). As a member of Saudi Aramco’s Exploration Management Team, he was responsible for the organization, staffing, budgeting, contract administration and cost effectiveness of all geophysical aspects of the Exploration and Field Development Programs. He has also published several articles on the identification, evaluation and implementation of technologies required for cost-effective and efficient execution of oil and gas operations.


 Mr. Emil T. Peña

Emil Pena served in the U.S. Department of Energy as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for the Office of Natural Gas and Petroleum Technology, Office of Fossil Energy. In this position, he was responsible for administering oil and gas programs including research and development, planning and environmental analysis, and import and export activities.

Prior to his appointment to DOE in March 2000, Mr. Pena was President of the Emil T. Pena Interests, Inc., a government affairs company representing clients at the state and local levels. Since 1985, his activities centered in Houston, Texas, and capabilities extended to Louisiana and New Mexico. During 1981-1985, Mr. Pena served as Assistant Director, Public Affairs Field Operations at Atlantic Richfield Company (ARCO), where he represented the company before state and local government bodies in an eleven state region and maintained a working relationship with elected officials as well as industry associations. During 1979-1981, at Miller Brewing Company, Mr. Pena was the Government Affairs Manager, responsible for representing the company in an eight state area in the Southwest. He analyzed and developed legislation to promote and maintain a healthy climate in which the company could operate and market in a free enterprise system. At LoVaca Gathering Company, 1977-1979, Mr. Pena was the Community Relations and Public Affairs Assistant to the Director and Vice President for Public Affairs. He represented gas transmission interests in Texas and assisted in customer and community relations.

Mr. Pena's professional affiliations and civic activities include Texas Mid Continent Oil and Gas Association, Texas Chemical Council, Houston Friday Club, Louisiana Mid-Continent Oil and Gas Association, Texas Association of Taxpayers, Inc., Child Guidance Council (Board Member), and Hispanic Political Action Committee (Board Member).

Mr. Pena holds a M.A. degree in Environmental Management from the University of Texas, San Antonio, Texas, and a B.A. degree in Political Science, History and Sociology from Texas A&I University, Kingsville, Texas. Mr. Pena also attended the School of Law at St. Mary's University, San Antonio, Texas, and the Lyndon B. Johnson School of Public Affairs, Austin, Texas.


 Anthony "Tony" P. Lewis

The Director and CFO of GCC Trading & Technology, Limited in Houston is Anthony “Tony” P. Lewis.

Mr. Lewis was born in Saudi Arabia and lived in the Kingdom for 17 years. In his professional career, he has over 21 years financial services industry and international project development experience managing international projects for banks and engineering procurement companies in the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. During his 9-year career at First City Bancorporation, he held the positions of Vice President Product Development & Risk Manager and spearheaded the roll out of a electronic banking solution called Global Banking to serve Americans living in Saudi Arabia. After First City, Mr. Lewis joined San Antonio Federal Credit Union for 5 years where he rose to the position of Senior Vice President - Retail Banking. In 1998, Mr. Lewis left the financial services industry and now owns an oil company and industrial water treatment company based in Houston, Texas.
