Management of Contract PersonnelGCC Trading & Technology has managed the relocation of contract personnel to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia since 1997.
On a rotating basis, GCC provided field-based Seismic Crew Managers, Seismic Recording Engineers, Surveyors, Seismic Vibrator Supervisors, Instrument Engineers, Field Crew Equipment Maintenance Engineers, Quality Control Geophysicists, Geophysical Processors, Paramedics and Mechanics. Other field-based personnel included Welders, Cooks, Bakers, Kitchen Assistants, Waiters, Laundrymen and Houseboys, Camp Cleaners, Camp Headmen (Saudi National), Assistant Camp Headmen (Saudi National), Line Bosses, Line Assistants, Vibroseis and Workshop Mechanic Helpers, Vibroseis and Heavy Duty Truck Drivers, Laborers, Watchmen (Saudi National), any other categories of personnel deemed necessary to accomplish the work under contract. In total more than 350 personnel were employed on a typical seismic crew during the entire three-year contract.

Since 1998, members of the GCC Trading and Technology team have helped place over 200 professional geoscientists and engineers on projects in Saudi Arabia. Our team members also manage all processes and procedures related to foreign contract personnel, including but not limited to, implementation of and adherence to Saudi Labor Laws, business practices, culture and customs.
